Once upon a time, there was a princess named Strawberry. Well, she wasn’t exactly a princess, but she liked to pretend. Her chuuni delusions could really take her places… Strawberry lived in a beautiful kingdom. And by kingdom, she really meant her bedroom– a cozy place away from the real, evil world.She spent almost everyday outside, roaming the courtyards with her only friend, a beautiful dragon named Snickers. This is a lie, Strawberry never leaves her room, let alone her home. She imagines what it feels like to enjoy basking in the sun, rolling around in the grass, feeling the gentle breeze against her pale white skin. She doesn’t enjoy these things, however. She likes it indoors– dark lighting, cool temperatures, the perfect setting to wrap up in warm blankets and sit at her computer all day and night long. That is what she really enjoyed doing.It is also important to note that Snickers was– and has always been a plushie– if that isn’t obvious by now. Strawberry had her since she was a young girl, it was a birthday present from her father. The plushie is a bit beaten up (missing her right eye), after so many years of cuddling. But Strawberry doesn’t care, afterall, she saw Snickers for who she was inside. Her best friend forever.Destined to one day become queen, Strawberry had grown up being kept away from others, as her hidden magical powers were considered dangerous by everyone who knew about them. Actually, she just avoided people because they are annoying, and she doesn’t make friends easily. She likes to stay in her room, eat Kit Kats, and watch anime. Strawberry could easily make anyone fall into an extremely cozy, vulnerable, sleepy state with her sleeping magic. This was her gift. She always liked ASMR and eventually found a place making ASMR herself. With her special microphones and soft, sweet voice, she could lull anyone to sleep. It really did feel like magic, or at least that’s what she told herself. She was a chuunibyou, afterall.But her father feared for her life if people knew the truth… she possessed great powers of sleep control.Everything changed the day her father passed. Strawberry coped with this in the best ways she knew how. It's hard to be alone.Strawberry and her beloved Snickers were thrown out of their castle and banished to a new world, much different than the one they had previously known. Strawberry grew more depressed than ever, never wanting to leave her room. It was the only place in the whole world she felt happy. In her room she could pretend nothing was real. She was a character, and everything was make-believe. She had complete control of her reality.In this new world, there would be no outside… There would be no leaving. And Strawberry looked… different here. Her once human form was now one of a small neko. Unable to truly express herself at a younger age, she now liked to dress up in kawaii fashion. Anything pink, pastel, cute… that's what Strawberry loved. It made her feel pretty, like a real princess. She liked to wear cat ears, too, and would pretend to be a catgirl herself. Dressing up helped take her mind off the bad thoughts. Forced to become a hikikomori, with her best (and only) friend turning into a plushie, she must stay here forever, alone.This 1000 year old catgirl princess was banished from her kingdom and sent into an evil new world with one rule: she cannot leave her room.Scared and all alone, she must stay here forever. Luckily, she found something called “internet”, a means to communicate with the outside world.Won’t you keep her company?
